Journey to the West
My first drama performance at primary school. I was casted as Tang Seng in the Chinese classic literature Journey to the West. Our performance was a shortened comedic version of it.
City Defense War
My first official drama performance in Theater was when I was in grade 5. The show was performed in the HuaFa Theater in Zhuhai.
The City Defense War was about a group of garbage that came alive and waged a rebellion against humans to advocate the importance of recycling and environmental protection. I was casted as the abandoned Milk box.
X Factory
The performance was based on the X Factory script written by Gawen Robinson. The show depicted a group of teachers and students striving to improve their school from being labeled as "Average" by the OFSET inspection Team. This was the first time I was cast as the Antagonist in my drama performances. I played Grimshaw, the head of the OFSET inspection team who wanted to shut down the high school.
Mid Summer Night's Dream
I was casted as Tom Snout in the Shakespear Play "A Mid Summer Night's Dream". This was the first Shakespear performance I have ever done in highschool. A Mid Summer Night's Dream has a similar style to the Goes Wrong Show comedy where actors assume roles of unprofessional actors who make silly, humorous mistakes in the show. Tom Snout was the unprofessional actor who played the wall in the show. In order to bring to comedy effect, I tried to make my costume silly and acting style as goofy as possible to bring laughter.
Hospital's Food
2023 Performance produced by the Broadway Theater Arts Club Hospital Food, written by Eugene O'Hare, presents a story about nine young cancer sufferers living in a hospital planning for escape. I was casted as character Josh in Hospital Food and was the co-director of the show. Hosiptal Food was the first time I perfomed in a tragedy, which was a breakthrough from my earlier acting expereinces in mostly comedy shows. I had to use my imagination to constrict the character of Josh and combine myself with him. By doing so, I performed his depressing personality and the desperation he experienced throughout the show.
Black Night Adolescent
2024 Performance produced by the Broadway Theater Arts Club. The “BlackNight Adolescent” performance presented a short, humorous show written by me and other club members together. It made the audience laugh while revealing a profound, dark message behind high-school life of adolescents. The show was consisted of separate scenes about different teenager stories such as academic stress, teenage love, and friendships. I was casted as Character Hector designed by myself. A nerdy high school student who focused on latest scientific discoveries while showing zero interest to in-school gossips. Co-director and scriptwriter of the show.

The Titanic but it Goes Wrong

The Titanic but it goes wrong is a comedy written and directed by me. Inspried by the British comedy The Goes Wrong Show series, our club members acted as a group of unprofessional actors and actresses trying to carry out the classical Titanic performance but made a lot of mistakes on stage that makes the show humorous.
I was casted as the Director who wanted to carry out the classical Titanic properly but was tortured by the actors' silly mistakes.
